Short and Sweet

Since our return from Branson, we've been busy so I'll keep this brief!

Highlights include activities like art class at school and going to movies:

4th of July parade we got caught up in while going for a morning stroll:

4th of July party at the Steffen's complete with water balloons:

Maddie is now in swim lessons and getting braver each day so we've spent a lot of time at the lake and at Uncle Ron's pool.

Here she is jumping off the dock at the lake!

Here she is at swim class...second from right with hair up in a bun.

Graham got new flip flops and insisted on wearing them to bed.

Graham loves company at breakfast whether it is Woody or Maddie feeding him.

We discovered a frog in our urinal?!?

Crazy Woman Driver

Let's start with the most exciting stuff first.

On Friday, June 26th we headed to Branson with the Long's (dad's sis) and Mimi/Max.  It was a short drive for us (3.5 hours) but somehow a long one for Mimi (6.5 hrs)?

We started the trip off with a celebration of Mimi's birthday, the reason for the trip.

We stayed at a "resort" with lots of fishing, boating and swimming...in the lake, pool, and tub.

While there we hit up SDC.
(from left: Mom, Dad, Audrey, me, Graham, Ingrid, Mimi, Aunt Jen, Uncle Chris)

While there we even saw Avery, Amelia, Lukas, Evan, Mason, and all their younger siblings.

Graham LOVED the pool!

We also rented a boat the last day we were there.

And then hit up the Go Kart place in the evening.

I got my first shot at driving!  Note that dad thought the blog title should have been "Crazy Asian Woman Driver".

Too bad Graham was too short to drive anything.  So dad let him have a turn in mom's car.

Poor G started running a temperature so he went to the doctor on Tuesday when we got home and found out he had an ear infection.  Lucky duck got a whole week off of school!

Back to old news...we started having water day at school now that it's actually warm out.  Even though Graham is on the little kid side of the playground, sometimes I get to venture over to play with him.

We had dinner at our favorite pizza place with Dido.

And we played in Uncle Ron's pool.

Oh...and before heading to Branson, I took my first trip to Kaleidoscope with Audrey and Ingrid.  Good times!
