Chicken Little

Friday night was sleepover with BobBob and Ta so mom and dad could go to Mrs. Tara's Wedding.  We had a lovely evening of playing and I slept really well until Porter decided to wake me up around 6am.  They hijacked my camera so none of me slumbering with Gparents.  Doesn't she look lovely!

The early Saturday morning wore me out and I had to take a morning nap to make up for it.  As a result my whole day was thrown off.  My afternoon nap started at 4:30pm and I slept until 6pm before heading over to Avery's Halloween party.  She even loaned me her bee costume from last year (note - I didn't rock the look nearly as well as she did).
As you can see, all the usual suspects were there including Evan, Zach, Mason, Amelia, and baby-to-be Nass.
Avery's Aunt Darcy gave her a tickle fest that I tried to get in on until I realized Avery's bigger than me and could easily take me down.

Then we toured Avery's new bathrooms.  As you can see I got some paper on my foot.  So embarrassing!

We headed home before the party ended.  Somehow I managed to stay awake until 9pm!

Sunday morning I woke on the early side again.  Dad hung out with me for the morning before we headed to BobBob and Ta's again.  The day's agenda was lunch at Chili's where Gpa and I split Chicken Tacos and shared some chips and salsa, a trip to Target for a new toy truck, nap time, then some play in the sandbox.
Oh yeah...and Ta pulled out mom's old tricycle.  The thing still works!?!

Here's Ta and I playing Tag.  If you listen closely you can hear my squeaker shoes:

After heading home we had dinner with Uncle Dave for which I opted out of sitting on his lap for photos.  He did teach me a new word of the day...botulism.  As you can tell from that word, I'm getting better and better every day at repeating whatever mom and dad say.  Wait until they hear me spout that one out at school.

Monday, October 31st was Halloween.  I wore my chickie costume to school but we had a subsitute teacher and she made me take it off soon after I got there.  The nerve!

That's okay because I got to sport it around for Ta and over at Pierce's house before we went trick or treating.

By the way, since you haven't seen Cousin Paige in awhile, here's a few pics of her.  She's catching up to me in weight and height quick!  She's already wearing 6-9 mo clothes.
Here I am trick or treating:

And of course Pierce in his Halo costume.

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!!!!

A Regular Picasso

It's Friday!!!

Here's some more pics of a day in the life at school.  For starters, we do a LOT of art projects which I love.  It being fall, we have been doing a lot with pumpkins, apples, and leaves.

The next best thing to art is play time!

I love my cars and trikes (hint hint gma and gpas)!

When play time is over we walk back to class on the rope. If you look close you can see that I like to wear my ring like a bracelet.

When we do morning and afternoon snack we all sit together.  When we do lunch they give us much more room to sling our food around the table.
When the weather is nice we go on buggy/wagon rides.
Here's dad and I at the playground.  If you notice the cut on my chin, I face planted on the school playground on Tues.  Woe is me.

Breaking out some new footie pajamas for this cold weather.  Be honest...does my butt look big?  I swear it's the diaper.

On Thursday, Oct 27th we headed to Dido and Donna's for dinner.

Lastly, had some pics taken.  JTodd is uber good at photoshop.  Check out the phone in the background.

Miss Tara and Mr. Chris get married tonight.  To honor the occasion, I'm having a sleep over at BobBob and Ta's.  I'm sure they can't wait to spend the whole night with me!!!

Anyway, early congrats to the happy couple!!

Bonanza

I'm a little under the weather tonight so we're going to be short on words and heavy on pics!

Here I am prepping for Halloween.  Mom said pink pumpkins didn't exist when she was a kid.

Walmart also has horsey rides.  Look ma, no hands!

And yes BobBob, the name of the show was Bonanza!

Next stop was Jackson Markham's house on October 16th for a pre-Haloween get together.  You can see below that even dad's friend Mookie got in on the fun.  The last pic is the shambles we cause when the parents try to get us all in one picture.  Not gonna happen.
Next we visited Uncle Dave's house.  He had a nice new renovation completed on his upstairs.  I tried my best to make the place look a little more lived in.
Here I am playing around his shower and closet:

Here are a few misc pics from the week.  Trying on a new coat for the colder weather.

Dinner with Uncle D, followed by a bath, followed by him babysitting me so mom and dad could go out.
Here's me learning to use the microwave, although mom and dad already found the child lock feature.

On Friday night we hosted a homeowner's party on our deck.  The weather was perfect and Miss Tara (soon to be Mrs. Tara) dropped by!

Saturday, October 22nd I put on my Tigers uniform hoping I would be a good luck charm, but they just couldn't beat OSU.  That's the second cowboy reference in one blog?

On Sunday I paid another visit to the gym and then headed to BobBob and Ta's.

I learned how to blow bubbles:

And yes, you see that right.  Pierce has green hair!!!
