Green Thumb

Dido invited us over for dinner on Thursday, March 22nd.  Why would we ever refuse free food?  His fridge is covered with fun pics of cousins Audrey and Ingrid and his kithen is big enough to twirl around in circles.  Best part is he sent us home with cinnamon rolls!

Friday night was free night at the community center.  They had a hge gym filled with toys my size...and dad's size.  Afterwards we hit up their pool.

Saturday was a pretty great day too.  We started off by having bacon for breakfast.  Yum.  Then dad and I hit up Crown Center sans mom so she could stay home and do yard work.  I highly recommend the place!

More pouty lip.  This time I didn't walk away with any new toys though.  Drat.

Saturday evening we headed to BobBob and Ta's for dinner.  Paige was there wearing some godawful costume and it wasn't even Halloween?!?

Before and after dinner we did a lot of outside time in the sandbox, blowing bubbles, and enjoying a popsicle (or two).

After playtime, I stuck around for a bath.  With Pierce.  A bath with boys two weeks in a row.  Scandalous!  Mom and dad didn't spring me on it until last minute, but I was having a slumber party so they could go watch a 10:30 movie.  Yes that's 10:30 PM.  I made it until almost 9:30pm before I crashed and Ta put me to bed.

Mom picked me up Sunday.  But before we headed home I got in plenty of plant watering time.  The problem is I'd have to water every day for a month to get all of Ta's flowers.  Then it'd be time to start all over again.

Monday night was pizza night.   I love when mom and dad are too lazy to cook!

Congratulations to my friend Amelia who is expecting a sibling this fall. I'm sure she's excited to be a big sis just like Avery will be!   I'm just happy to not have to share my toys...

Daddy's Lady Luck

The weather has been great all week.  Wednesday, March 13th was exceptionally nice, but mostly because I got to see Uncle Dave.  We hit up the park for a little jog, fed the ducks, did some quality playground time and then had a picnic!

As you can see, concrete beats fork every time.

We even grabbed some ice cream for dessert before heading home.

What...ice cream two days in a row?  That's how I roll. Mimi came down on Thursday and I talked her into a trip to BR.

Friday, we had a party at school.  As luck would have it, I remembered to wear some green.

When I got home from school, THIS was waiting for me!  Hello new warm weather toy.

Saturday morning we headed to the zoo.  The only animal pic mom snapped was me on this tiger.

Saturday, was the official St. Patrick's day.  To celebrate we had friends over for Mexican food.  Totally makes sense right?  I made a new friend (Laik) and did pretty good sharing my toys, high chair, and bath tub with him.

Sunday morning we did breakfast at this super duper place that sells cookies too.  How did I not walk out with a single one?  This is obviously a message that good looks won't get me far in life and I'll need to get a job to afford said cookies.
Or...I can just turn on the charm and grandma passes me a 10 spot.

It happened to be a gym morning and we did an easter egg hunt.  This was my first one and I was pretty successful.  I picked up the concept right away, especially after cracking one open and downing 5 gummy bears.
That afternoon I got to nap with Pierce and Porter!

My last pic for the post is completely random.  I spotted this montrosity on the highway and thought the same thing as this guy...apparently it belongs to the rapper Tyga.  Way to ruin a good car.
