Thailand 2017

Here are some of the highlights of our trip to Thailand.  It was AMAZING!

Left home to catch a 7pm flight on Christmas night.

We left LA at 1am our time.  I don't think Graham had stayed awake that late in his entire life.  We did great and the plan was awesome.  Completely with personal tv/game console.

We arrived late morning on 12/27 and Ta and a huge lunch awaited us.  Along with a foot massage.

We got to see tons of family including Ta's sisters, brother, and her mom Khun Yai Dang.

We headed to the beach for a few days and G and I loved the beach.  First time playing in the sand.

The next week dad and Mimi headed to Northern Thailand and then to Singapore which gave us kids plenty of time to swim, play, and eat.

Check out what their malls have:

Who doesn't love feeding monkeys?!?

We gave offerings to the monks so we could receive blessings.

We took a trip down the Chao Phraya river that runs through Bangkok and enjoyed a noodle lunch delivered (and cooked) by a woman in a boat.

Probably the best part of all in my opinion was Kidzania.  It was like Exchange City times 1000.  Supposedly they're opening a couple in the US.  You get to do all different jobs (too many to list).  We got to be firefighters, vets, magicians, mechanics, tomato pickers, ketchup makers, sushi makers, soccer stars, and cosmetologists.

The trip ended with a big family dinner at Silom Village and a last visit to Big C Market to stock up on goodies (complete with ride in back of truck) before starting the long journey back home.

Adjusting to the time change coming home was tougher than going over.  We had a few mornings of waking up at 4 or 5am.

But, we already told mom and dad that we can't wait to go again next year!
