Making Progress

Graham had his first trip to the aquarium.  I'm not sure what G liked best...the fish, the fountains outside, or the ice cream he got afterwards.

Ta's friends were still here at the beginning of May so we got to spend a little more time visiting with them.  Thank you aunties for all the gifts and hugs!!

G and I had our semi annual trip to the dentist.  While I was a perfect little patient, G was not.  He cried as usual.  The reward for no cavities...home made pizzas!

Probably the coolest thing I did was head to Daisy Scout camp.  I mean it wasn't real camping since we got to sleep in an air conditioned room with bunk beds, but it was super fun!!  Mom stayed the night too and really enjoyed sleeping in a room with 20 kids and moms.

On May 18th I had my Kindergarten graduation.

Uncle Ronnie opened his pool for business for Memorial weekend and we stopped by to tell Great Gma Dard that we miss her.

Now for the fun stuff...we're making progress on our new house.  Here are some of the highlights...check out more pics on the House Build link.  The workers tore out the concrete patio slab in back and framed out and poured the footers.  Next week they'll be working on the foundation walls before they start ripping off the roof for the upstairs addition.

He Be Three

Now that the weather has been consistently warm, Ta got us a snow cone maker to play with.  She put BobBob to work making them and we got to work eating them.  Delicious.

The other thing we've been working on is POTTY TRAINING Graham!  He now wears big boy undies to school and is doing really well at night too.  Fingers crossed.  Mom and Dad can't wait to be done with diapers for good.

So the big news is that Graham turned 3 on April 30th.  We had a party for him on April 24th and some of Ta's friends from Thailand (Pa Ead, Na Honey, Na Peng) even flew over just for the party!

Then Graham had another party at school on April 29th.

And another one on April 30th with his friends.

Then a last party at home with Mimi and Dido.  How lucky can this kid get!?!

For G's birthday I read him a book:

Happy Birthday big boy!  We love you so much, especially your big sister Maddie!

Demolition Derby

Well, demolition has started and finished on the new house.  Now we still need to pull permits to start the real work.  Here's some pics of the interior torn down to studs.

Graham and I have been playing a lot better together.  He's finally starting to cry a lot less as he gets closer to his 3rd birthday.  Must be my big sistering skills.

In the last month we had 3 Easter Egg hunts at church, with Dido, and with Mimi.  Dad thought the church one was a little ridiculous.  Watch the video to see if you can find any eggs.

We dropped by Auntie Cole's house for Smores and every morning at school Graham shares breakfast with his "friend" Emily.

I started playing soccer.  I had my first practice and game on April 2nd.  I didn't have a game this weekend but we did spend some outdoor time at the Farmstead.  Graham got his first go round on the pony rides!
