Pièce de Résistance

On Thursday, May 31st, mom dropped me at school.  Today was "show and tell" day with things that begin with the letter 'T'.  Mom sent me to school with Toothpaste and Toenail polish!  As you can see, there were Telephones galore so I felt pretty original.

Mimi picked me up from school and we enjoyed the afternoon together.  One thing I've noticed is that when mom is gone, not as many pictures get taken?

Friday after school my friend Jane dropped by.  She goes to school with me and turns out her dad went to school with my dad.  It kind of blows my mind.  Apparently when mom is gone pants are also optional.

We headed up to see Mimi on Saturday.  L-Town was having this cool art fair with a bunch of kids activities including a "make your own hat station".

Mom got home from her trip Saturday afternoon and since it was so warm out, we went over to a different classmates' (Ava and Luke) house for some pool time.

After showing off my piano skills, Luke brought out the ice cream sandwiches.  A perfect way to end a hot day.  While I can be a messy eater (see prior posts of watermelon eating), I don't come close to Luke.

Sunday was extremely low key and a good thing too.  I woke up with a slight fever for no apparent reason.  I was in a decent mood, but extremely tired.  I woke at 7am and made it to 8:45 before I fell asleep on mom's chest.

After my morning nap we went out to see Ta.  She knew I was feeling crummy so gave me a massage.

On the way home we made a pit stop by the library.  This can't be normal right?  In case you can't tell, click on picture to enlarge, but yes the car is filled with newspapers.

And now for the pièce de résistance...I pooed in a toilet!  Teacher whipped out this pic from her phone when mom picked me up today.  I know what you're thinking, you can't believe I posted a picture of my poo, but a girls got to be proud of something right?  At not quite 2 years old it's not like I'm breaking records for fastest 100m dash time or learning to fly a plane.  And at least I kept the picture small.
