This blog is dedicated to my Great Grandma Dardanella Duncan - BobBob's mom.

Dardanella Maie Duncan, 94, of Olathe, Kansas passed away at Olathe Medical Center surrounded by her loving family on Monday, August 18, 2014. She will forever be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, grandma Dard, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met.

She met and married the love of her life A. D. Duncan on July 26,1944. Together they raised their children Bonnie Duncan, Tom Duncan and Robert Duncan. Dardanella worked as a bookkeeper alongside her husband in the family business, Midwest Propeller. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Other activities include sewing, cooking and traveling with her husband A.D. when he worked for TWA until he retired in 1973.

Dardanella is preceded in death by her parents Golden and Vera Sesler, loving husband of 40 years A. D. Duncan, daughter Bonnie Duncan, son Tom Duncan, grandson David Duncan and three sisters Frances Lenser, Elnora Petsche and Lois Pinkham.

She will be sadly missed by her many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dardanella is also survived by her three sisters Donna Jean Kearnes of Henrico, Virginia, Irene Lewis and her husband Don of Apache, Arizona and Rosemary Dyslin of Meza, Arizona.

Great Gma Dard, you will be forever in our thoughts and always loved!

On August 10th we headed to Deanna Rose.  This was Grammy's first time there and I hadn't been there in a long, long time.

Needless to say, Graham loved it!

After Deanna Rose, we headed to Matthew's birthday party.

Here I am with some friends and my first attempt at bowling:

On August 22nd weekend, Mom headed to NYC for a girls trip and Dad headed to Uncle Dave's bachelor party.  G and I got sent our separate ways, me to BobBob's and Graham to Mimi's.  The weekend flew by and we were perfect angels.  Of course.

Apparently Graham is really allergic to mosquito bites.  Check out his right ear that is red and sticking out like dumbo.  No worries, it's back to normal.

Graham has been reading a lot of books lately and is really working on memorizing his animals!
