Beg, Borrow, and Steal

Saturday, April 30th, my school hosted an Easter Egg hunt.  It was rather uh....challenging?  You'd think they'd put a little more effort into hiding the eggs.

After my nap, I headed up to Mimi's for a slumber party.  The exciting stuff happened on Easter Sunday when I got to color eggs, go to church, have a huge lunch, and then hunt for easter eggs!  Dad was much better at hiding them than school was.

Dad was out of town Monday night so BabBob and Ta (here on out known as BBT) came over to go out to dinner with me.  Pizza and ice cream!  Yea me!!

The weather really took a good turn towards the end of the week.  On Friday, 4/5 we headed to the park to feed the duckies, hit the playground, then wouldn't you know it...pizza and ice cream again.  What luck!

Here I am at World Market test driving some beds and "fake" sleeping.

Pat and Auntie Cole invited us over for Saturday morning breakfast in the posh new kitchen.  Let me tell you...a good looking kitchen turns out some great tasting food.

Sunday, April 6th was Avery D's birthday party.  She was 4 if you can believe it!  We had a sweet time playing in the bounce house in her FRONT YARD!

After plenty of jumping time, we enjoyed some hugs and another great feature of the party - a Costco cake.  Mom was probably the person at the part most excited about that.

Oh...and we "borrowed" this headband from her.  I promised to return it the next time I see her.  Until then, I'm getting a lot of wear out of it.

Some other happenings this past week.  The weather got crappy again, we visited BBT on Sunday and I helped clean mom's car, and I got to decorate eggs again.

Mom had lunch with her friend Tara and here's a pic of her new baby Finley.  Her mom looks great and Finley did a great job sleeping all the way through lunch.

In case you're wondering, mom is doing well.  Baby Bro is going to be here in less than 3 weeks and I'm trying to get myself prepared.  Let me rephrase that.  I'm trying to get mom and dad prepared...that I don't like sharing.
I'm really into signing lately.  Here I am belting out a tune.  Mom wasn't really sure what the song was, but I swear I heard it on the radio last week.

What a pretty voice! Hopefully Maddie has a backup plan besides being a professional opera singer. That is how I sound in ths shower but luckily no one is recording it.
