First Fish

We headed to the lake early on Friday, July 6th.  In fact we got down early enough to still go for a swim.  With the doggies!  And early enough to break out the new sprinkler!  Double win.

Before bed I got a huge peach and some Curious George time.  Then I slept like a baby!








Saturday and Sunday were pretty great too.  I got to sleep in, jump in bed with Dad and the dogs after I woke up, and enjoyed a few fireworks.

Probably the best part though was getting to fish Saturday night.  Dad showed me how to put a worm on a hook (yes I even touched one) and then I reeled in my own fish!!!

Monday evening was pretty nice so we headed to the park.  It's been awhile since I've gotten to go due to this darn heat.  If you ask me, September can't get here soon enough. 











Dad went to the All-Star game on Tuesday so we hit up the pool. I am becoming a slight fan of base, but an even bigger fan of singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame".  I'm not very loud yet, but I'll work on that.


Dido came for dinner on Thursday, July 11th.  He not only came for dinner, he brought it over too.  And Miss Donna dropped by too!  Another double win. 
























Of course after dinner was an ideal time for me to streak the kitchen.  So I did.  Then they caught me and forced me into hugs and kisses.  All in all another good week.  Oh and mom got some cuddle time in with Porter...I'm going to have to squeeze in for some furry hugs next time.
