Birthday # 2

Well, today is my birthday!   When I turned two today I was really anxious, because I’d doubled my age in a year. I thought, if this keeps up, by the time I’m five I’ll be 64.  Hardy har har...

Thank you to all my friends and family who helped me celebrate the fun filled weekend!!!

Saturday morning, July 28th started out with breakfast with Mr. Easter Bunny.

The day just got better from there if you can believe it.  Cousin's Audrey and Ingrid sent me this awesome horse named Rody.  It's probably my favorite thing ever and I spent a solid couple hours that morning bouncing around the house on it.

Then came the pool party!  We gathered at the house then all walked over together. We had the whole place to ourselves!

Next came presents.  It was very generous of everyone to bring me a gift and quite unnecessary, but I did make out like a bandit.  I added a Sit N Spin, a letter factory, puzzles, an elephant purse, lots of books and stickers, some blocks and a tumbling mat from the McCrackerJack girls who promised to teach me how to do a somersault.

Porter tried to get into the middle of all the fun, but I opted not to share.

Sunday was yet another party for Moi.  BobBob broke out the big pool in my honor.  All of the best grandparents were there and Ta mysteriously knew that I love Nemo!  But who doesn't...

Here's some birthday song singing:

By the end of the night I was pooped.  I was out almost before we left Ta's driveway.

Back to today, Monday, July 30th which is my actual birtday. Mom baked cupcakes for my party at school.  Before heading off, both mom and dad woke me, gave me some cash to stuff in my piggy bank (saving up for that first car already) and stuck candles in my birthday muffin.

After school, we fit in some time to feed the ducks.  You'll see it's one bite of bagel for ducks, two for me.  Seems fair?

I headed to the playground afterwards. Has Mr. Triche been here too? Looks familiar.

Thank you again for celebrating my special day with me!
